patch First Generation School Patch: The overall shape (Dome) represents a container, symbolizing that various Martial Arts systems are contained within our style of Kenpo. The red color stands for courage. The white dove symbolizes the Christian spirit, purity and peace. The tiger, strength. Together, peace through strength. The Black Belt represents the integration of the represented systems, and the gold border is representative of commitment and arduous training.


patch Second Generation School Patch: The second generation school patch has been enhanced to represent the values and traditional character of the first school patch with design enhancements to include two lightning bolts. The two lightning bolts symbolize power from above and physical speed. The Japanese characters are words, which translate to, Kindai Inazuma Ryu, which means,"Modern Lightning System". The royal blue lettering which identifies the different types of Martial Arts Systems symbolizes loyalty and truth. The rectangular structure represents strength.


No DescriptionThird Generation Institute Patch: The third generation institute patch has been simplified to represent the Budo Kai Martial Arts Institute. Within the Institute we offer three different systems of martial arts. The systems are Chiedo Ryu Aikido Aiki JuJutsu, Kindai Inazuma Ryu Tai Jutsu, and Kumiuchi Ryu Jiu Jutsu. The three systems are represented by the three gold circles located above the leopard. The royal blue background symbolizes loyalty and truth. The rectangular structure represents the strength of our student base which supports our shield or crest. Each system that is offered at our institute is represented by its own patch.
 

No DescriptionThe First generation system patch. This patch represents the Kindai Inazuma Ryu Tai Jutsu System of self defense. The roundness of the patch denotes blending and fitting in. The purple outer ring symbolizes royalty and unity of our students. The inner black ring symbolizes the Sensei at our institute and how they propagate their knowledge to the student body. The inner purple ring represents our Shihans and how the Inazuma Ryu system is transmitted from the inner circle (founder) to the Sensei. The gold color of the inner circle represents purity and years of rigorous training. The two crossing arrow fletches represent silent power and accuracy in your aim for your goals (target).  


patch Kumiuchi Ryu Patch: This patch is worn by select individuals in the Budo Kai organization who have been awarded the honor of personally studying Kumiuchi Ryu Jiu Jutsu from Dr. John Rubiano Soke. Dr. Rubiano is Professor LeClair's Jiu Jutsu Instructor. This gentleman is held in the highest esteem at our Dojo. Through the year, seminars with Dr. Rubiano will be held and the student body will be invited to attend.
patch  Kokon Ryu Bujustu Renmei
 international patch. The word "Kokon" means old and new. The word "Ryu" means system. The word "BuJutsu" means fighting arts. The word "Renmei" means family. This patch is the official patch for the organization that Soke Rubiano, Soke Thomas Burdine, and Soke Dai Pat Burdine started in the early 1970's. The colors and shape of the patch have been designed with significant meaning. The rectangular shape stands for structural strength. The black border patch is worn by white belts through NiDan. The red border patch is worn by SanDan through YonDan. The gold border worn by GoDan and above. To the left of the patch are the Japanese flag. The Korean flag, the Chinese flag and the Okinawan flag, all worn under the American flag. The color white stands for purity. 


 

patch Sensei Patch: This patch is worn only by those who are designated as FULL Instructors by Professor LeClair. (SanDan and above.)
patch Instructor Patch: This patch is worn only by those who are designated as Instructors by Professor LeClair. Shodan through Nidan. FULL Instructor status is recognized at SanDan rank.
patch Assistant Instructor: This patch signifies an Instructor in training, designated by Professor LeClair.
patch American Flag Patch: This patch is worn to honor our country and to acknowledge American systems of Martial Arts. 
patchWorld Martial Arts Hall Of Fame.
 This patch is worn by the students who through Professor LeClair have been selected to be inducted into the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame. 
CPR & First Aid Trained: (CPR - Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) This patch is worn by those individuals who have taken the training courses. We offer thess courses to all students during the course of their Martial Arts Training. These courses are a mandatory requirement of all Black Belt Ranks. All candidates for these courses must be 16 years of age or older.

These patchs are worn by those individuals who have taken the National Rifle Association (NRA) Personal Protection/home firearms safety course. We offer this course to all students during the course of their Martial Arts Training. This course is a mandatory requirement of all Black Belt Ranks. All candidates for this course must be 18 years of age or older.

For those individuals who have elected to take the NRA Personal Protection and Fire Arms Safety Instructors Course. All Candidates for this course must be 18 years of age or older.

The roundness of the patch denotes the original path of knowledge, the outside red border represents courage, the purple inside border represents royalty.

The Gold border and writing represents refinement of the arts over many years.  The Bonsai tree represents growth and the fact that upon reaching high levels in the martial arts you realize that there is still much to learn.The green grass represents foundational growth.

The gradiant rising to the blue sky denotes building to the level of spiritual clarity.  The ISHH patch with the outer red border is to be worn by ISHH members who are Shodan and above.  The patch with the outer gold border is to be worn by Headfounders - Soke or Soke Dai.

This International Organization is a large network of prominent Martial Artists and distinguished Grand Masters of many different Martial Arts Disciplines.
