Payment Procedure/Reminders Tuition Payments: Timely and accurate processing of tuition payments require hours of work. We ask that you please extend us the courtesy of prompt payments on or before the day it is due. We will post your payment on the day it is received.  Refund Policy: ALL lessons at the Budo Kai Martial Arts Institute are pre-paid on a number of different payment plans and/or tuition packages. Due to the nature of our scheduling and weekly classes, which are made available to all students at the appropriate grade/rank level(s), we are unable to honor tuition refunds of any kind. Students can make-up classes within a specified period of time if the original commitment agreement can not be honored. Please communicate directly with Professor LeClair if you should have a concern about meeting your training commitments or have a schedule conflict. Late Fees: Please remember, tuition payments are credited when received by us or EFC. In the event your payment is late, we will, however, apply a late fee to your outstanding balance. If you are making a late payment, please include your late fee with your payment and note this on the memo portion of your check. Account Management: To ensure proper crediting to your account, write the student's name, and month paid for on the lower area of your check. For example, 11/12-12/12 - John Smith, "Test Fee for Yellow Belt", "patches for Jane Smith", etc. Private Lessons: When scheduling a private class, we ask that you pay in advance. Also, please be courteous and allow at least a 24 hr. notice if cancelling a private lesson. We need this time to reschedule another student in that slot. If you give us 24 hours notice, you will not be responsible for the payment. If we do not receive 24 hours notice, you will be responsible for payment for the time we reserved for you. Supplies: When ordering supplies from us, (gi's t-shirts, shoes, etc.) it is necessary to prepay for your order. Please see Professor LeClair if you need to place an order. It generally takes three to four business days turn around time to receive supply orders.
